To find the year of  your boat, look on the back of the boat its self. (or on the title) You are looking for
the
hull number or VIN number. It will be on a metal plate that is attached to the boat in the rear somewhere or if
could be engraved or stamped directly into the hull. The last 2 digits of this number is the year of the boat.
It could be any where on the rear, but will be on the hull it's self,
not on the motor, not on motor housing, not on
ladders,
not on the trailer, not on the.... Etc. It will be directly on the hull. Usually fiberglass boats have it stamped
directly in the fiberglass and aluminum boats have a plate bradded on (such as pontoons)  It can be on either side
of the motor, but usually on the right (rear) side of the boat.
